Merry Christmas To You!

It's that time of year again when we all get the chance to reflect on the year that's past, consider the year ahead, and to contemplate the true "reason for the season". Yes, it's Christmas time, the time when western nations (and some others) celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, through the coming together of families, the exchange of presents, and the eating of feasts.

I truly hope that all of my Beat the Slots blog readers have a very Merry Christmas! For some of us, Christmas is a wonderful time filled with fun, love, and excitement. I always remember however that for some Christmas is just another day, or a day filled with sadness (remembering loved ones that have passed on), or stress (and domestic violence), or just sheer poverty and depression.
